Mission Groups

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Matthew 28:19-20

East Lumberton Baptist Church is very involved in mission work both local and abroad. We believe that the only way to bring people to Christ is to spead His Word! There are numerous groups and organizations that we offer and welcome everyone to be apart of. Groups such as WMU (Women’s Missionary Union), Baptist Men, and our annual Mission Trip. There is a group for everyone to serve in!

The WMU ladies at East Lumberton are always on the move!  They participate in many collection drives to help local nursing homes, schools, and the local prisons. They support local and international missions through the support of WMU. They meet the 3rd Monday of each month, All ladies are invited to come and attend.
The baptist men at East Lumberton help do projects for our senior adults and others in the community. They help build ramps, yard work, and any other project to help other people out. They are striving to be the hands and feet of Jesus! They meet the 3rd Monday of each month. All men are invited to come and attend.

Annual Mission Trip

Our church normally goes on a mission trip every year either foreign or at home. We have visited various places in North America such as New York and Kentucky. Our mission trips normally consist of outreach, physical labor, preaching and several other ministries. We normally have our mission trip in July to allow the children and youth to attend as well.
